Fieldwork Research is a small research project. We talk with the people who do skilled service work — backflow testers, plumbers, pool techs, HVAC crews — about how the work actually gets scheduled, done, and paid for.
If you got a note from us, your business is listed on a public license or certification registry, and we wanted to ask about your week. Our questions are about how you already work: how jobs get booked, how customers come back around, what eats your time, what you've tried that didn't stick.
We're not selling anything. There's no pitch coming at the end. A real person reads every reply.
We write up what we learn about how the trades really run — the patterns behind scheduling, repeat customers, and getting paid. When something someone tells us suggests a small tool would genuinely help them, we sometimes build one and give it to them. Free, theirs to keep, no strings.
